Picnic Pavilions

Arnette Park - 2165 Wilmington Highway
The park is on old Highway 87, about four miles south of downtown Fayetteville. It has a combination of developed facilities and natural woodland. Amenities include picnic pavilions, nature trails, 18 hole disc golf course, football and soccer fields, softball fields, horseshoe pits, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts and playgrounds. Call 433-1547 for reservation availability.

Mazarick Park 1 - 1612 Belvedere Avenue
The park is located off Bragg Blvd. (accessed from Pearl or Westmont Street) adjacent to Glenville Lake.  Amenities include a pavilion, walking trail, disc golf, playground unit, softball field and tennis courts. Call 433-1547 for reservation availability.

16 tables, seats approximately 100 persons, 4 grill units
Fee: $60 (1-4 hours), $110 over 4 hours 

Mazarick Park 2 - 1368 Belvedere Avenue
The park is located off Bragg Blvd. (accessed from Pearl or Westmont Street) adjacent to Glenville Lake.  Amenities include pavillions, a building, fishing pier and walking trail.  Call 433-1547 for reservation availability.

Pavilion 3
6 tables, seats approximately 35 persons, 2 grill units
Fee: $40 (1-4 hours), $70 over 4 hours

Seats approximately 80 persons, small kitchen, restrooms, picnic tables on deck, one grill on deck
Fee:  $65 (1-4 hours), $25 each additional hour plus a $200 refundable deposit

Lake Rim Park - 2214 Tar Kiln Drive
This facility is on Old Raeford Road between Reilly and Cliffdale Roads. Amenities include picnic areas, walking trails, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, multipurpose field, soccer and football fields and playgrounds. Two pavilions are available for reservation for groups up to 100 persons. Call 433-1018 for reservation availability.

Rowan Park - 725 Rowan Street
Centrally located near downtown on Rowan and Woodside Streets, the park’s unique blend of landscape features makes it a great place for an impromptu picnic, taking children to the playground, or just enjoying the day outdoors. The picnic pavilion requires no reservation.

Cross Creek Park/Fountain Side - Green Street
This very popular location for weddings and other special occasions is downtown on Green Street. The landscaping contains trees, shrubs and seasonal flowers that enhance this formal outdoor setting. Call 433-1547 for reservation availability.
Fee:  $100 (1-4 hours), $25 each additional hour

Mable C. Smith Park - 1367 Shadbush Lane
Shadbush Lane off Deep Creek Road, east of the Cape Fear River. This is one of the newest parks available to citizens. The pavilion has picnic tables that seat about 80 people. There are two permanent restrooms, one grill station, a gravel walking trail, two basketball courts, a multipurpose field and playground. Call 433-1547 for pavilion reservation availability.

Honeycutt Park - 352 Devers Street
Co-located with Kiwanis Recreation Center, the park has a small pavilion, paved walking path, open grass area, two playgrounds, including one exclusively for toddlers, and three baseball fields. Call 433-1568 for pavilion reservation availability.

Seabrook Park - 708 Langdon Street
Co-located with Smith Recreation Center, the park has a large shaded pavilion, two grill stations, two playgrounds and basketball courts. Seabrook Pool, the only public swimming facility in the county, is also in the park. Call 433-1571 for pavilion reservation availability.

Christina S. Smith Park - 500 Fisher Street
Co-located at JS Spivey Recreation Center, the park has a pavilion that seats about 80 persons, permanent restrooms, basketball and sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, playground, and ball fields. There is also a splash pad in the park, open daily on a seasonal basis. The splash pad is a variety of water features on a flat surface that spray water. Westover Park - 267 Bonanza Drive
Co-located with Westover Recreation Center, the park has a small pavilion, paved walking path, open grass area, one playground and three multipurpose fields. Call 433-1088 for pavilion reservation availability.
